Yida Pan

I'm an undergrad studying mathematics and computer science at the University of Michigan, advised by Qing Qu and currently working with Ismail Alkhouri at Los Alamos National Laboratory. I'm interested in generative models that efficiently learn and adhere to real-world physics, with applications to scientific problems.

Before undergrad, I planned to study earth and planetary science. I discovered ~900 stars using AI, was an ISEF finalist in Physics, and attended the national Earth Science Olympiad training camp. Now I'm working to advance these fields with AI.
